As part of its commercial activity, Piece-mobile is required to process information about you. For example, by completing a purchase form, making a purchase on our online store, contacting our Customer Service, registering for an event that we organize, participating in a competition, browsing our websites or our mobile and digital applications, by clicking on an advertising link that we present to you, you send us information, some of which is likely to identify you ("personal data").
This Privacy Policy informs you of how we collect and process your personal data. We invite you to read it carefully.

We only use your personal data in the cases provided for by the regulations in force:

For Piece-mobile, this legitimate interest is to perpetuate the level of commercial income necessary to maintain its independence as a seller, to finance the production of content offered to its readers, to maintain the free availability of certain content on its sites and applications or the existence of subscription offers at preferential rates for certain categories of customers (students, school libraries, etc.).
In any event, your individual rights will always take precedence over our legitimate interests, and we will never use your data for commercial purposes against your will.

3. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT ON YOU AND UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE COLLECT IT?
3.1. The data you send us directly

The data that we collect during our business relationship with you include the following:
Information relating to the history of your commercial relationship with Piece-Mobile: subscriptions taken out, orders for products and services, invoicing and payment, if applicable;
Your participation in promotional offers, contests or events;
Requests you have made to our customer service or incidents that you have reported to us, for example concerning the delivery of our products or the performance of our services;
Information concerning the purchases of products and services that you have made from our partners.
3.3. The data we collect automatically
During each of your visits to our sites and mobile applications, we collect information about your connection and your browsing. Different technologies can be used to collect this data. We refer to them generically as a "cookie".
- Data collected through cookies
A cookie is a text file deposited when consulting a site, a mobile application or an online advertisement and stored in a specific space on the hard drive of your computer or your mobile device. The cookies placed by Piece-mobile, subject to your choices, give us access to the following information in particular:

Navigation data on our services, content viewed.
- Data collected by standard Internet technologies
We are also likely to use standard Internet technologies, such as scripts, pixels, and redirects. Scripts (sometimes called tags), written in JavaScript language, are programs that run in your browser or mobile application and perform various actions, such as sending information to our servers. Scripts are also capable of creating pixels. Pixels (sometimes called transparent GIFs, clear GIFs, or web-bugs) are lines of code that allow a graphic image (usually invisible) to be displayed on a web page or in an email. Redirects make a web page available under multiple page addresses (URLs). When a browser opens a redirect URL, a page with a different URL is opened.
The purpose of these technologies is to improve your experience on our sites and applications, including to provide you with personalized content according to your interests. For example, when a user clicks a share button on an article, a script creates a pixel that counts the share. Thus, we are able to know the total number of shares of an article, and we can establish the ranking of the most shared articles.
These technologies give us access in particular to the following information:
Information relating to your use of our sites and applications;
Information relating to the presence of cookies on your terminal, the time and date of viewing a page, and a description of the page where the web beacon is placed;
Information on whether or not you read the e-mails we send you, on the clicks you make on the links contained in these e-mails.
Our sites and mobile applications may also include scripts, pixels and redirects from third parties. These technologies allow third-party service providers to collect certain information such as your browser type, and the web page that referred you to our websites or mobile applications. These third-party service providers process the information they collect for audit, research, and reporting purposes on our sites and applications and the advertisements viewed on them. We do not share your identification data with these third parties as part of their use of these technologies.
- Data provided by mobile devices
Certain mobile devices, depending on the permissions you have granted to the mobile application and which you can modify at any time (for example: "notification" or "Geolocation"), send information, in particular: your phone model, version its operating system, type of connectivity, name and version of the application used.
This data, necessary for the proper functioning of the mobile applications that we publish, are processed automatically by our servers and those of some of our partners (in particular Google Analytics) in order to be able to provide you with a service and advertising adapted to the technical characteristics of your device and to measure the audience of our mobile applications.
Also, if you have accepted this functionality, we are able to identify the physical location of your device (geolocation), in particular to inform you about content or offers that we think are in line with your expectations or your areas of interest or to improve your experience on our mobile applications. In accordance with applicable law, geolocation functions can be deactivated at any time in the system settings of your device.
3.4. The data we assume
We are likely to establish, by reconciling the data we have about you and general and anonymous statistical information, assumptions about the content and services able to meet your tastes or your uses.
3.5 Data relating to minors
In principle, our products and services are aimed at adults capable of entering into contractual obligations.
The minor user must obtain the consent of his legal guardian prior to the communication of personal data concerning him.
For registration on our sites and some of our online services (eg newsletter), the age of 18 is accepted.
3.6. Data relating to a third party
Before offering a subscription or any other product or service that we market to a third party, you must ensure that the person concerned accepts that their personal data, in particular their postal address, are communicated to us.
3.7. Exclusion of any sensitive data
Piece-mobile does not collect any sensitive data about you. The following are considered sensitive data: racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, data relating to health or sexual orientation. If such information were in any way communicated to Piece-mobile, it will be deleted.
4. FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
This article tells you the main purposes for which we use the data mentioned in article 3.
4.1. Operations necessary for the supply of products or services
Taking into account your subscription to a subscription contract for our publications and execution of this contract;
Consideration of your order for products or services and execution of this order;
Management of subscriptions to our newsletters and / or e-mail alerts;
Billing; collection of payments;
Management of deliveries and follow-up of orders;
Customer relations: provision of Customer Service accessible by mail, telephone, e-mail or chat-type instant messaging, for any question or complaint;

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
Your personal data are kept for a period in accordance with legal provisions or proportional to the purposes for which they were recorded. Certain retention periods meet the legitimate interest of Piece-mobile as specified in the introduction.
The retention periods vary depending on whether we have an ongoing contractual relationship (you are an active customer), that we have had a contractual relationship with you in the past (you are an inactive customer) or that we never have had such a relationship with you (then you are a prospect). The data related to your browsing on our online services collected by the cookies that you have authorized have a specific retention period.
In any case, we regularly review the information we hold. When their retention is no longer justified by legal, commercial or customer account management requirements, or if you have made use of a right of modification or erasure, we will delete them securely.
