Removing the Galaxy S3 Internal Chassis

  • Themobile-pieceRecommend that you turn off your Samsung Galaxy S3 before replacing its front camera.
  • To access the battery, remove the Battery cover of your Galaxy S3Using a plastic spatula.
  • Try delicately on the Galaxy S3 batteryIn order to remove it from its housing.
  • Once the battery is removed, unscrew the 10 Phillips screws that hold the internal chassis protecting the motherboard.
  • Insert your plastic spatula between the inner chassis and the main chassis. Now, gently pry the lever to unclip the inner chassis and remove it.

Removing the Galaxy S3 motherboard

  • Disconnect the connector from the Galaxy S3 ringtoneOf the motherboard.
  • Re-use your plastic spatula to pry and lift the loudspeaker ringer.
  • Use your Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the motherboard mounting screw.
  • Disconnect the tablecloth from the volume knob using your plastic spatula.
