Change the socket jack plug-buttons volume and vibrator of an iPhone 4S white

Remove the rear window of your iPhone 4S

  • It is recommended to turn off your iPhone 4S before replacing its jack plug jack-volume and vibrator.
  • Start by extracting theSIM card reader for your iPhone 4SUsing a paper clip.
  • Remove the 2 pentalobes screws located on either side of the dock connector (charging connector).
  • Drag up theRear window of your iPhone 4S Until it moves 2 mm.
  • Once the rear window is removed, you can access the Battery of your iPhone 4S.

Remove the battery from your iPhone 4S

  • Using your Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 2 screws that hold the metal cover Dock connector for your iPhone 4S.
  • Use your plastic spatula to disconnect the dock connector from the motherboard dock connector.
  • Remove the 4 Phillips screws from the protector on the top of the motherboard and then re-use your precision pliers to remove it.
  • Reuse your plastic spatula to disconnect the tablecloths below the metal protector.
  • Unscrew the screw that secures the "L" shaped metal element and then remove it with your precision pliers.
  • Remove the 5 screws securing the motherboard to the chassisWith a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Gently lift the Motherboard of your iPhone 4S In order to deposit it.

Removing the motherboard from your iPhone 4S

  • Use your precision pliers to remove the small golden metal element underneath the motherboard.
  • Remove the plastic cover from the face-time camera then retrieve the module from the Face-time camera of your iPhone 4S .
  • Carefully peel off the Plug Jack-Volume Buttons and Buzzer Button on your iPhone 4SOf the chassis using your plastic spatula.
  • Unscrew the 3 Phillips screws holding the Volume buttons on your iPhone 4SThen reuse your plastic spatula to detach it from the chassis.
  • Do as shown on the video to remove the Jack for your iPhone 4SOf its location.
  • Remove the Phillips screw that is used to hold the Vibrating button of your iPhone 4SThen proceed with its withdrawal.
  • Using a plastic spatula, retrieve the volume buttons and the vibrator button from theTheir supports.
